Tired of not having the relevant data in one spot to assess the performance of your website? We launched a major update to SeoHighLighter that brings you an insightful SEO monitor. It’s like your very own command and control center for SEO analysis.
Google Analytics provides amazing data but by combing the data with Google Search Console data, you can really understand the traffic to your domain and pages and begin to improve your page SEO.
Domain Summary Tab
Under the new SEO tab, we added three new features. The first is the Domain Summary. It provides an overview of your website’s traffic and search analytics. We added charts below the summary so you can see the historical trend for Impressions, Click through rate (CTR), bounce rate, and much more. It also compares to the prior period, so you can easily see if your stats are improving or worsening.
Page Summary Tab
The second new feature is the Page Summary tab. With one click, this tab analyzes your site and returns website traffic and search analytics data for each page/post on your site. It sorts by Impressions to show you which pages have the most organic search results. You can then see which pages have the most opportunity for SEO improvement.
For example, I like to look at pages with high impressions but low click through rate (CTR). As you can see, we are slowly drilling down into more site detail as we progress through the new features.
Page Analysis Tab
I’ve saved the best feature for last. The third and final SEO feature is the Page Analysis tab. Here, you can analyze specific pages and/or posts in your site. In the search bar, type a keyword for a URL in your site and the search will return matching pages. Select a page and SeoHighLighter returns not only search analytics and website stats, but the organic keywords that are driving impressions for your page.
This is great information to begin analyzing how you can improve the SEO for your page. Are you ranking for your intended keywords? Are you receiving high impressions but low clicks for specific keywords?
